We just got the email in italics below from Alex Schadenberg of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition. Please vote in this Canadian poll on whether assisted suicide should be legal. Remember that legislators here in the US look at polls everywhere, and polls change minds. Right now we are losing, so please vote NO quickly and forward this to likeminded friends.
* CBC news has an online poll that asks: Should people have the right to assisted suicide? Please vote NO.
You will find the poll by linking to the article and scrolling down. Link to the poll: http://www.cbc.ca/news/yourcommunity/2011/08/should-people-have-the-legal-right-to-assisted-suicide.html.
* CTV news has an online poll that asks: Should Canada reconsider the criminal code prohibition on assisted suicide? Currently we are losing 58% to 42%. Please Vote NO.
You will find the poll at: http://www.ctvnews.ca/. You will find the poll on the right hand side of the page, after scrolling down a little, under the title: Today’s Question.
Both polls refer to the Farewell Foundation BC case which was having a pre-trial meeting in British Columbia today.
The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition will have legal representation at these hearings. Please help us by donating at: http://www.euthanasiaprevention.on.ca/Donations.htm. If you are not comfortable with online donations, then call the office at: 1-877-439-3348 to make a donation.
