“Join the fight to protect the lives of the elderly, disabled, sick and weakest amongst us by:
-
Calling your State Senators and Representatives at home this week. Ask them to support the Moratorium on Assisted Suicide.
-
Email them if you can’t get ahold of them by phone. And ask them to support the Moratorium on Assisted Suicide.
-
GO TO TOWN MEETING DAY! And ask them to support the Moratorium on Assisted Suicide! Bring this flyer with you for a quick reference!”
We need to take this week to contact our Senators, Representatives and our Governor and tell them about our support for this basic protection against the dangers of this ill crafted law.
With next week being Town Meeting day (March 4th), the legislature is out of session, so they are all at home. Make sure to call their home numbers and talk with them or leave a message requesting them to support a Moratorium. Be courteous, and be prepared to give them reasons (the flyer is a great starting place).
And then next week, show up to Town Meeting day and voice your support for a Moratorium!
In a previous post, we listed who voted for and against this horrible bill. It’s also good to know where your Representatives stood on the bill when it was passed.
