As you may be aware, the Carter Case, began today in Vancouver, Canada. In this important case, a woman in British Columbia with ALS is suing to gain the right to assisted suicide, which is currently illegal in Canada. The case could legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide in Canada. The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition has been granted intervener status in the case and will argue to prevent assisted suicide from becoming legalized. There will be a barrage of media coverage and discussion of assisted suicide throughout Canada during this case. Please find a related poll below.
